I have been watching and waiting for the reactions to come out about Dr Sanjay Gupta's apology about medicinal marijuana, today I was lucky enough to come upon this one:

Dr. Sanjay Gupta spoke with Piers Morgan about his CNN documentary “Weed,” in which he investigates the pros and cons of medical marijuana. In the one-hour special, the network's chief medical expert not only took an objective look at the substance, but even admitted that he has changed his mind, allowing that marijuana may in fact have medicinal benefits. Tonight, he was joined by perennial "Piers Morgan Live" guest Montel Williams. Williams has previously spoken on the show about his debilitating disease and, this time, brought to the floor his own experiences with medical marijuana.
Williams couldn't be more grateful for Gupta's year-long research into marijuana and its effects on the human body:
"I'd hug this guy and kiss this guy because what we've been waiting for in this entire movement, about medical marijuana" Williams exclaimed. "I'm not talking about the movement to legalize marijuana, that's not what I'm involved in at all."
My belief in the use of medical marijuana use grows with each of these reports I find.
Over the past week since Gupta's documentary "Weeds" was released, he's been stressing the medical benefits of marijuana and not straying into recreational use. The doctor has been heavily criticized for his new stance on marijuana:
"I think the criticism often stems from this dichotomy that 'look if you do this, what about the kids?' I get it. I have kids. I understand that concern," Gupta explained. "But I don't think either Montel or I are saying this is something we would advocate for kids to taking. Look, if the trade off is because of the concern about kids, that patients will be denied therapy that works for them like Montel Williams and like hundreds and thousands of other patients out there, that's not something I think doctors or frankly any compassionate person should accept."
Watch the clip to see Williams and Gupta show off how the government has been supplying marijuana cigarettes to a few U.S. citizens for years, and for the next edition of "Piers Morgan Live," watch CNN every night at 9.

The other night I had gotten up in the middle of the night to let my dogs out, when I let them back in, walked into the kitchen for their treats I crashed into the kitchen table taking out two chairs along the way. Both of my legs given out it is caused from the multiple surgeries. I suffer severe nerve damage, next thing I know my husband runs into the room and asks if I'm all right which I wasn't. I have a bruse on my shoulder that is the prettiest of colors, and have suffered with pain higher than 10 ever since. Put in a call to the pain treatment center requesting to move my appointment up which seemed to be quite the struggle, they are so quick to judge and write a person off as a drug addict now a days.

Specifically, the SSA's "ability to work" rules are more relaxed for applicants who are 50 and older.
Being over 50 doesn't mean that it's easy to get approved, but age does play a factor in your chances of being approved.

A word of advice..Don’t give up..I was persistent.. I even had to show the judge I was in a body cast after a fusion back surgery, to receive my disability settlement, I believe it was through marketing and life and searching for chronici back pain relief .. I SUCCEEDED I am not ready to stop when it comes to Marketing or Life.
